Within the framework of the EMFAF (European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund), the EU supports companies in the fishing industry that produce and operate in accordance with sustainable fisheries and
aquaculture.
Companies can apply for EU grants for investments that contribute to achieving the objectives of the EMFAF and EMFF. Numerous measures by Castro Seafood were therefore implemented more quickly through EU funding.
